Pakistan Faces Lowest Foreign Investment in 50 Years and Highest Unemployment in 21 Years, Says Senior Journalist Arif Hameed Bhatti
Islamabad (Daily Qudrat) — Senior journalist Arif Hameed Bhatti has highlighted that Pakistan is currently experiencing foreign investment at its lowest level in the past 50 years, while unemployment has reached a 21-year high.
In his statement, Bhatti further pointed out that poverty is at an all-time high in Pakistan’s history, and uncertainty in the country has reached a 78-year peak. He noted that farmers are facing the worst conditions in the last 60 years, and no sector has shown significant growth since April 9, 2022.
He criticized the hybrid system, stating that it has led to unprecedented levels of corruption across various sectors, further worsening the country’s economic and social challenges.
