Accused Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in Bank Employee Bilawal Zarkoon Murder Case

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — A session court in Quetta has sentenced the accused, Mir Wais Kasi, to life imprisonment in the murder case of private bank employee Bilawal Zarkoon. The verdict was announced by Judge Shahid Javed of Session Court No. 10.

According to the prosecution, Bilawal Zarkoon was shot dead on December 28, 2023, in Patel Bagh. Following the incident, police arrested the accused, Mir Wais, and handed the case over to the Serious Crime Investigation Team.

Judge Shahid Javed had earlier reserved the judgment after completing the hearing of the case. The court has now sentenced Mir Wais Kasi to life imprisonment for the murder and an additional three-year imprisonment for possessing illegal weapons.

Senior lawyer Mumtaz Mahfooz Advocate represented the prosecution in the case.
