Alarming Rise in Kidney Diseases in Lasbela; Lack of Dialysis Facilities Puts Lives at Risk

**Bela, Lasbela:** The number of kidney patients in Lasbela district has surged to alarming levels, raising serious public health concerns. Local communities have highlighted that the rapid increase in kidney-related illnesses poses a significant threat, while government hospitals in the district lack basic dialysis facilities.

Residents have urged Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan Alyani and Lasbela MPA Nawabzada Mir Zareen Magsi to establish modern dialysis units at Civil Hospitals in Bela or Uthal. Such facilities would relieve patients from the burden of expensive treatments and long-distance travel to other cities.

Health experts have warned that the absence of timely medical facilities is endangering precious lives, emphasizing the urgent need for immediate attention and concrete measures to address this critical health issue.
