Girl in Viral Assault Video Comes Forward, Confirms Incident Happened in Rawalpindi

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — New developments have emerged regarding the disturbing viral video showing a young woman being subjected to severe torture, unlawful confinement, and blackmail. The victim has now come forward with her own video statement confirming the details of the incident.
Earlier, the assault was believed to have taken place in Islamabad’s Lohi Bher area, but investigations have revealed that the incident actually occurred in Rawalpindi around one and a half months ago. Following this confirmation, Islamabad Police have transferred the case to Rawalpindi Police.
According to Islamabad Police, after the video began circulating on social media, SSP Operations Captain (R) Qazi Ali Raza ordered an immediate inquiry and arrest of the culprits. Three separate police teams were formed, which located the victim and several suspects and conducted a four-hour interrogation.
Police also examined the video using modern technology. During the investigation, the suspects admitted that the accusations made by the girl were true, confirming that the incident took place 1.5 months ago in Rawalpindi.
A detailed report was submitted to the SSP, who subsequently directed the case to be handed over to the relevant Rawalpindi authorities. Federal police spokespersons also verified that the incident did not occur in Islamabad.
Rawalpindi Police stated that the victim has not yet submitted a formal written complaint, but contact has been established with her and she will soon record her statement, after which a case will be registered according to law. Police further noted that, based on the girl’s account, the incident occurred across three different police jurisdictions.
In her video message, the victim identified herself as **Eman** and recounted what happened:
“This incident happened about one and a half months ago. A girl named Sana and a boy named Arman took me to their flat on Misrial Road. They beat me, cut my hair, and recorded my video. Later, they took me to another flat in a private housing society, threatened me with weapons, and made more videos.”
She further named individuals present at the scene: “On Misrial Road, Arman, Durani, Mithu, and a fourth unknown person were there. They made the video viral. I want action against all the accused.”
Rawalpindi Police say legal proceedings will begin as soon as her official statement is recorded.
