Quetta — Political leaders from various parties in Quetta have announced their decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League (Q).

According to an official statement, several office-bearers from the Awami National Party (ANP) and the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) have formally joined PML-Q.

The party has also issued tickets to its candidates for the upcoming Quetta local government elections.

PML-Q central spokesperson Mustafa Malik said the party fully trusts the leadership of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. He added that the development of Balochistan is vital for Pakistan’s progress.

He further stated that eliminating unemployment and restoring peace in Balochistan should be top priorities, emphasizing that anti-state elements seek instability in the province.

Regarding regional security, the spokesperson claimed that India is involved in terrorist activities in Balochistan. He added that while PML-Q supports dialogue, those acting against the country do not deserve any leniency.
