Former Husband Accused of Sexual Assault on Pakistani-American Woman; Case Registered in Lahore
Lahore (Qudrat Daily) — A Pakistani-American woman has alleged that her former husband sexually assaulted her in the Defence B area of Lahore, prompting the police to register a case.
According to Lahore police, the case has been formally lodged against the ex-husband based on the woman’s complaint. Reports indicate that the couple had been married for some time, but due to domestic disputes, the husband sent a divorce notice via WhatsApp. The divorce certificate lists the year 2024, and the husband allegedly provided incorrect information to the Union Council.
The complaint alleges that the suspect maintained an illegal marital relationship with the victim for over a month. Authorities have initiated investigations following the registration of the case.
