Israel’s Netanyahu Cancels India Visit for Third Time Amid Security Concerns

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Following a deadly blast in Delhi, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has postponed his scheduled visit to India in December.
According to international news agencies, this marks the third time Netanyahu has deferred his India trip this year, with no new dates announced yet. Israeli media reported that the decision was prompted by serious security concerns following the terrorist attack in New Delhi two weeks ago.
Earlier, Netanyahu was expected to visit India for a one-day trip on September 9, but the visit was canceled on September 17 due to elections. Prior to that, a planned visit in April was also abruptly suspended, causing embarrassment for the Modi government.
Netanyahu last visited India in 2018. Although three trips were planned for this year, all were postponed. The new date for his India visit is now likely to be announced in 2026.
It is notable that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Israel in 2017, becoming the first Indian Prime Minister to do so.
