Timely Completion of Development Projects Must Be Ensured, Says Balochistan Chief Secretary
**Quetta (Daily Qudrat):** Balochistan Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan has said that the development projects under the Quetta Development Package are playing a vital role in improving the quality of life for citizens. He noted that these projects are providing basic facilities, education, healthcare, employment opportunities, and social services—making everyday life easier and more prosperous for the people.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held to review the ongoing priority projects under the Quetta Development Package and to assess the implementation of decisions made in the previous session.
The Chief Secretary directed that all development projects must be completed on time. He emphasized that the timely completion of these initiatives will further enhance the standard of living across the province, as the projects contribute to progress in key sectors such as basic infrastructure, education, health, and employment. These improvements, he said, help reduce poverty, stabilize the economy, and support social uplift—bringing direct positive impacts to the lives of citizens.
He added that the development projects have also contributed to the beautification of Quetta city, creating a greener environment, modern infrastructure, and better living standards.
During the meeting, officials informed that 12 development projects under the Quetta Development Package have been completed, while 6 projects are currently in progress.
