Historic Tribal Feud Resolved in Qalat House, Quetta; Smalani, Satkzai, Astrana, and Syed Tribes Reconcile

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily)** – Under the goodwill efforts of Prince Agha Umar Jan Ahmedzai, a long-standing tribal blood feud between the Smalani, Satkzai, Astrana, and Syed tribes was successfully resolved through a jirga held at Qalat House, Quetta. The reconciliation fostered peace and unity among the rival groups, who embraced each other in a symbolic gesture of goodwill.
The jirga was attended by prominent tribal leaders including Sardar Kamal Khan Bangalzai, Sardar Masoom Khan Tarin, Sardar Sherbaz Khan Satkzai, Sardar Sakhi Bhai Khan Smalani, Sardarzada Mir Shah Jan Gargnari, and Sardarzada Mir Hayat Khan Satkzai, among others. The tribal elders collectively worked to end the decades-long feud, promoting brotherhood and protecting the communities from further harm.
Prince Agha Umar Jan Ahmedzai emphasized that tribal traditions play a crucial role in maintaining lasting peace. Sardar Masoom Khan Tarin thanked Prince Agha Umar Jan and the participating elders for their efforts, noting that the resolution of the longstanding conflict was a testament to the strength of tribal mediation. He also invited the Prince and Baloch leaders to visit Duki to resolve other historical tribal disputes in the region.
Sardar Sherbaz Khan Satkzai remarked that the timely intervention of tribal customs helped bring an end to the enduring conflict, and the gathering concluded with prayers for continued peace and prosperity.
