Punjab Announces Wheat Production Competition 2025 with Tractors and Cash Prizes for Farmers

Islamabad – The Punjab Agriculture Department has announced the Wheat Production Competition 2025, offering tractors and cash prizes to top-performing farmers across the province.

According to the department’s spokesperson, at the provincial level, the first prize will be an 85-horsepower tractor, the second prize a 75-horsepower tractor, and the third prize a 60-horsepower tractor. At the district level, cash prizes of PKR 1 million, 800,000, and 500,000 will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners respectively.

Farmers with a minimum cultivation area of five acres or more are eligible to participate. Application forms can be obtained from the offices of the Tehsil Assistant Director or Agriculture Officer. Members of the Provincial Assembly, government officers, and agriculture department employees are not eligible to participate.

The competition aims to encourage increased wheat production and reward high-yield farmers for their contributions to agriculture in Punjab.
