Father Jumps from Third Floor After Being Asked to Leave Daughter’s Hospital Ward in Lahore

LAHORE: A 28-year-old man was seriously injured after allegedly jumping from the third floor of a hospital building after being asked to leave his daughter’s ward at Lahore’s Children’s Hospital Lahore.
According to police, Imran Sabir, whose daughter is receiving treatment at the hospital, reportedly became distressed after security guards allegedly asked him to leave the ward. He then allegedly jumped from the third floor, suffering fractures to both of his legs.
Hospital staff immediately shifted the injured man to Lahore General Hospital for medical treatment.
According to the hospital administration, Imran is being treated in the surgical emergency department, and his condition has improved since his admission.
Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
