Makran Art Promoters Showcase ‘Colors of Balochistan’ Exhibition in Turbat; Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch Pledges Greater Support

Turbat – A vibrant one-day art exhibition titled *“Rang-e-Balochistan”* was held at the Government Girls Degree College Turbat under the banner of Makran Art Promoters Balochistan, celebrating the province’s culture, environment, history, and artistic identity through powerful visual expression.
The exhibition featured the works of senior artist Sharif Qazi from Buleda, Kech, and renowned artist and college professor Hafeez Goharji from Panjgur. Their paintings vividly highlighted Balochistan’s landscapes, social fabric, emotions, natural beauty, and cultural heritage.
Former Chief Minister of Balochistan and MPA from Turbat, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon. Divisional Monitoring Officer (Colleges) Barkat Ismail and Assistant Divisional Monitoring Officer Sharif Shambayzai were also present.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch said that the land of Balochistan has always been rich in talent, creativity, and artistic expression, and this exhibition once again proved that truth. He assured extended support to Makran Art Promoters Balochistan through MPA development funds to ensure such cultural activities continue in the future.
Students from the Girls College and Delta School participated actively, observing artworks closely and engaging with the artists to learn about painting techniques, color use, and visual storytelling.
Barkat Ismail Baloch told media representatives that the exhibition not only offered aesthetic pleasure and entertainment but also served as a practical learning opportunity for young people to understand the value of art and fine arts.
The exhibition remained open until 5 PM, and organizers announced plans to hold similar events in other cities of the Makran region. On the occasion, artist Sharif Qazi presented a beautiful painting as a gift to Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch.
