Iran’s Top Security Official Arrives in Pakistan on Significant, Unprecedented Visit

Islamabad – Dr. Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, arrived in Islamabad on a historic and highly significant visit aimed at elevating Pakistan–Iran relations to a new strategic level.
According to the Iranian Embassy, the evolving global landscape, regional dynamics, and emerging strategic requirements have increased the need for Pakistan and Iran to strengthen, coordinate, and modernize their bilateral cooperation more than ever before. Dr. Larijani’s visit is being viewed as a major step in this direction.
During the visit, delegations from both countries will engage in comprehensive and result-oriented discussions on a wide range of issues, including political relations, security cooperation, border management, counterterrorism, economic partnership, and regional stability.
