Quetta and Kalat Face Intense Cold as Temperatures Drop Below Freezing: Met Office
Quetta — The Quetta Meteorological Department has reported severe cold weather across several districts of Balochistan, with temperatures in some areas dropping well below freezing.
In Quetta, the weather remained extremely cold during the early morning and nighttime hours, with the minimum temperature recorded at **-2°C**. Daytime temperatures are expected to range between **17°C and 18°C**.
Similarly, Kalat experienced even harsher conditions, where the minimum temperature dropped to **-3°C**, reflecting a continuation of the intense cold wave gripping the region.
The Met Office has advised residents to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from the severe cold and to stay warm, especially during nighttime and early morning hours.
