Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Deputy Secretary Idris Barich Attends Regional Executive Meeting Ahead of Local Elections

QUETTA: **Sardar Idris Barich**, Provincial Deputy Secretary of the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP), participated in a special **Railway Regional Executive Committee meeting** focused on preparations for upcoming local government elections.

The meeting aimed to enhance organizational activity at the grassroots level, streamline workers’ outreach campaigns, and develop effective electoral strategies. Regional executive members presented various proposals related to local elections, including ward-level organization, practical planning to address public issues, and strengthening public engagement during the campaign.

Addressing the meeting, Barich emphasized that **local government institutions are the primary means to address citizens’ essential issues at their doorstep**, and the PMAP has consistently supported the devolution of powers to lower tiers. He stressed that the party’s success depends on a **strong, organized outreach campaign and strategic planning by its workers**.

Barich assured that the party is fully prepared for the local elections and that competent, honest, and public-friendly candidates will be fielded in every ward.
