Case Filed Against Father and Four Others for Selling Newborn; Arrests Made

LEHYA — Authorities have registered a case against a father and four others for allegedly selling a newborn in Karor Lal Esan, local media reported.
The case surfaced a year after the incident when the mother filed a complaint. Police have arrested the father along with four accomplices involved in the crime.
According to the mother, her husband, along with his sister, a hospital employee, and a doctor, sold the baby for PKR 800,000. The child has since been recovered by authorities.
