Farah Khan Says YouTube Earned Her More in One Year Than Her Entire Film Career

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Renowned Indian choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan has revealed that she earned more money from YouTube in a single year than she ever did throughout her long film career.

Known for her successful choreography, blockbuster films, and vibrant presence in Bollywood, Farah Khan has now become a major star on digital platforms as well. Her life has long revolved around the glamour and pace of showbiz, with numerous hit songs and films to her credit.

Farah, always eager to try something new, embraced social media wholeheartedly. She launched a YouTube vlogging and cooking channel, where her personal chef also appears — and has now gained significant popularity in his own right.

One major highlight of her cooking channel is the celebrity guests from the entertainment industry, during whose conversations various behind-the-scenes secrets of Bollywood often emerge.

Speaking on a recent podcast, Farah revealed that she never expected YouTube to be profitable. She said she only started her channel after persistent encouragement from her team. “I never thought it would be useful, but I ended up earning more in one year on YouTube than I ever did in my showbiz career,” she said.

Farah added that the best part about her channel is the creative freedom: “No one can tell me to cut a scene or influence my choice of guests. I am completely independent.”

Farah Khan launched her YouTube channel in April 2024 and has already amassed over 3 million followers in a remarkably short period.
