Gas Crisis Intensifies in Quetta: Residents of Alamdar Road and Hazara Town to Stage Protest on January 14

The gas crisis in Quetta has escalated, prompting the National Party to announce a peaceful protest against the severe gas pressure shortage and the alleged mismanagement by Sui Gas Company in Alamdar Road and Hazara Town.
According to party leaders, the protest will take place on **Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM** in front of the Sui Gas Office on Samungli Road. The demonstration aims to draw authorities’ attention to the persistent gas supply interruptions and dangerously low pressure affecting residents.
National Party officials criticized the ongoing lack of gas supply during the extreme cold, calling it a grave injustice to the public. They also held the Sui Gas Company and the provincial government responsible for failing to resolve this basic necessity.
The protest will be led by **Central Committee member Dr. Muhammad Ramzan Hazara**, with participation from senior party leaders and workers. The National Party has appealed to residents of Alamdar Road and Hazara Town to join the peaceful demonstration and assert their right to essential services.
The party leadership emphasized that the struggle will continue until the demands are met, and they vowed not to allow the public’s problems to be ignored under any circumstances.
