Karachi Kidnapping Racket Exposed: Police Officers and Woman Involved, One Cop Arrested

**Karachi:** A major breakthrough has been made in the case of two citizens kidnapped from Karachi’s Garden area, as investigations have revealed the involvement of a *woman and police personnel* from both Karachi and Balochistan. One Karachi police constable has been arrested.

According to investigative sources, two men — Aamir and Shahzaib — were abducted along with their vehicle on **September 23**, with the kidnappers later demanding a massive **Rs 3 billion ransom**. The victims were held at an undisclosed location in **Khuzdar, Balochistan**.

Sources revealed that a woman named **Kanwal** played a key role in facilitating the kidnappers in Karachi. The probe also found that a Karachi police constable posted in District Keamari helped transport the abductees to Balochistan via the **Hub checkpost**. A Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) official from Balochistan has also been identified as a suspect.

The arrested Karachi police constable, Abdullah, was reportedly set to receive the smallest share of the ransom — a payment he never received due to the victims’ recovery.

The Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), with assistance from the Citizen-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and intelligence agencies, conducted multiple raids for the arrests and recovery. During the operation, the kidnappers abandoned the two men near the **Hub checkpost** and fled. The AVCC confirmed the safe recovery of the hostages on **November 11**.

Police officials said the investigation is ongoing, and **more arrests are expected** as the kidnapping gang is further uncovered.
