Political Leadership Has Given Only Disappointment; Quetta Public Ready for Change”—Sadiq Khan Achakzai

**Quetta:** **Sadiq Khan Achakzai**, Chairman of the Mazloom Awami Tehreek Pakistan, has claimed that the people of Balochistan are ready for political change, as traditional political parties and leaders have offered nothing but disappointment.
He made these remarks while addressing a grand ceremony at the Quetta Press Club, where twelve independent councilors and leaders and workers from various political parties joined the Mazloom Awami Tehreek Pakistan.
Sadiq Khan Achakzai highlighted that, despite being the provincial capital, Quetta presents a landscape of neglect, grappling with fundamental issues such as security, gas, electricity, and employment, which receive little attention from political parties or elected representatives.
He stated that the people of Quetta have given their mandate for change and expressed confidence that his party will deliver a surprise in the upcoming local government elections.
The party’s central president, **Abbas Khan Drani**, congratulated the newcomers, noting that contradictions between political leadership’s words and actions have caused public disillusionment. He described the Mazloom Awami Tehreek Pakistan as a beacon of hope and light amid the darkness of public disappointment.
