Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Sohail Afridi Announces “Biggest Long March in Pakistan’s History” for October 4

Peshawar – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced that a “long march” scheduled for October 4 will be the largest in Pakistan’s history, warning that no threats, guns, or batons can deter them from their objective.

Addressing a ceremony, Afridi stated that upon arriving at the event, he first inquired whether the expenses were government-funded or personally covered by the minister, adding that the minister himself was unaware. “If it is government expenditure, I will not tolerate it; the minister will pay from his own pocket,” he asserted.

The Chief Minister emphasized that those who come to power with a public mandate care for the people and do not purchase an 11-billion-rupee jet for themselves or order vehicles worth 300 million rupees each. “All their actions are for the people,” he said.

Afridi declared, “On October 4, Pakistan’s history will witness a massive long march. No threat, no coercion, no gun, no baton can move us even an inch from our objective. These positions and seats only hold meaning for those with personal interests.”

He further stated that every policy that puts a price on the heads of “my Pashtuns” will be changed, every policy that leaves Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bleeding will be changed, and every policy that does not benefit Pakistan will be changed.

“Some people fill their pockets and buy islands and flats abroad for dollars. For them, the blood of my people will not be spilled at any cost. We will stand against this, and if necessary, we will rebel, but we will not accept any policy that results in the martyrdom of my people,” Afridi concluded.
