Senator Maulana Abdul Waseem Blames Government Failures for Economic Paralysis and Public Distress in Balochistan

QUETTA – Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Balochistan and Senator Maulana Abdul Waseem has strongly criticized the provincial government, calling the current situation in Balochistan a direct result of failed policies and anti-public measures.
Senator Abdul Waseem highlighted that restrictive border policies have paralyzed the province’s economic lifeline, leaving traders with heavy losses and severely limiting production activities. He also condemned the suspension of internet services, which has disrupted the education system, depriving thousands of students of access to online classes and research material.
He further criticized the government’s indifference to ground realities and public hardships, describing it as a foundation for a larger crisis. The senator demanded that authorities recognize public discontent seriously and avoid irresponsible measures such as internet shutdowns, while implementing a clear and actionable economic strategy for the province.
