Five Killed, 20 Injured as Wedding Bus Collides with Trailer in Raiwind
Raiwind:A tragic accident occurred on Jia Baga Road where a wedding party bus collided with a trailer, resulting in the deaths of five people and injuries to 20 others.
According to Rescue 1122, the bus carrying wedding guests crashed into a trailer on Jia Baga–Raiwind Road. The impact left five passengers dead on the spot, while 20 others sustained injuries. Women and children are also among the injured.
Rescue teams immediately shifted the wounded to Lahore General Hospital and Raiwind THQ Hospital for treatment.
Local residents reported that the bus overturned after the collision, which caused extensive damage and increased the number of casualties. Meanwhile, Raiwind Police arrived at the scene and have begun legal proceedings regarding the incident.
