Maulana Fazlur Rehman Stresses Unity of Muslims During Bangladesh Visit

Dhaka:Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief **Maulana Fazlur Rehman** is on a visit to Bangladesh, where he addressed the **International Khatm-e-Nabuwwat ﷺ Conference** in Dhaka.
According to **Geo News**, while speaking at the conference, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the belief in the **finality of Prophethood ﷺ** is a symbol of unity among Muslims. He emphasized that the movement is not about violence but about continuous struggle.
He highlighted that **Muslims of Pakistan and Bangladesh form one community**, sharing common faith and purpose. “If you come toward us on foot, we will run toward you,” he added, underlining the desire for stronger cooperation between the two brotherly Islamic countries across different fields.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman further stated that Muslims across the subcontinent, and scholars of all schools of thought, agree that **no prophet can come after Prophet Muhammad ﷺ**, and anyone claiming prophethood will be considered outside the fold of Islam.
He also said, “We bring a message of goodwill from Pakistan and will take a message of goodwill back from Bangladesh. This relationship of love and brotherhood will continue to strengthen. Just like dividing property among brothers does not affect their brotherhood, the bond between Muslims of Pakistan and Bangladesh remains strong. Today’s gathering will contribute to better, stronger, and more stable relations between the two countries.”
