Protests Erupt Across Balochistan Following Friday Prayers Against 27th Constitutional Amendment

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat)** — Following the call of **Maooood Khan Achakzai**, peaceful rallies were held outside mosques across various districts of **Balochistan** after **Friday prayers**, protesting the proposed 27th Constitutional Amendment. The demonstrations were organized under the guidance of the **Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aaeen Pakistan (Movement for the Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan)**.

Leaders and workers from central, provincial, district, and tehsil-level units of the participating parties actively joined the rallies. Protesters raised slogans such as:

* *“I do not accept such a constitution”*
* *“Long live democracy”*
* *“Death to dictatorship”*
* *“Release Imran Khan and other political prisoners”*
* *“Long live Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aaeen Pakistan”*
* *“Long live Mahmood Khan Achakzai”*

The leaders instructed participants to remain prepared for further protests in line with the joint statement and the directives of the central leadership, which includes **Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal, Barrister Gohar Khan, Asad Qaiser, and Salman Akram Raja**.

They emphasized defending the **constitution, parliamentary supremacy, and democratic rule**, opposing the 26th and 27th amendments, and supporting an **independent judiciary and free media**. The leadership also urged the public via social media to fully support the movement, stating that it represents **the only path for the people to safeguard their rights** amid the current political situation.
