JUI-F Lawmaker Fazal Qadir Mandokhail Alleges Local Leaders Seek Shares in Zhob Projects

Quetta: JUI-F member of the Balochistan Assembly Fazal Qadir Mandokhail has claimed that Zhob’s misfortune lies in the fact that several political figures—including senators, MNAs, MPAs, and provincial ministers—are more focused on seeking their “share” in development matters than serving the public. He also accused the Governor of Balochistan of unnecessary interference in local affairs.
Speaking to a private news channel, Mandokhail said that the people of Zhob had rejected the current Governor of Balochistan, yet he still assumed office and continues to intervene in every issue. He added that the Hazara community’s rightful seat in Quetta’s Alamdar Road area was given to Zarak Khan, who is now also demanding his share in resources.
He further alleged that Provincial Health Minister Bakht Kakar, MNA Jamal Shah, and Senator Bilal Mandokhail are also involved in demanding funds and benefits for personal interests rather than public welfare.
Mandokhail emphasized that his own priorities are public service, particularly in three main sectors: education, health, and employment. He highlighted that a school dam constructed during the Mughal era collapsed after heavy rains in 2021, and its repair and reconstruction are among his top priorities. He also announced that he had secured approval for a major new school project to ensure better educational opportunities for children.
The JUI-F lawmaker reiterated that he is committed to working for community welfare rather than personal gain. He urged the people of Zhob to raise their voices for their rights and expect transparency and fairness in all matters.
Mandokhail added that strict action would be taken against those interfering in job distribution and government facilities, stressing that such steps are essential for real development and public welfare in Zhob.
