Opposition Parties Hold Key Meeting to Plan Future Strategy After Passage of 27th Amendment

Islamabad: Following the approval of the 27th Constitutional Amendment, opposition parties under the banner of the Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain-e-Pakistan convened an important meeting to formulate their future course of action.

According to Express News, the meeting was chaired by Mahmood Khan Achakzai and held at the residence of Senator Allama Nasir Abbas. Participants included PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, BNP chief Akhtar Jan Mengal, former Speaker Asad Qaiser, Zain Ali Shah, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Ali Asghar Khan, Hussain Akhunzada, Shaukat Basra, and several others.

The meeting focused on the country’s current political situation, with detailed discussions on the newly approved 27th amendment. Opposition leaders consulted on major decisions, reviewed legal experts’ opinions regarding the amendment’s implications, and deliberated on their strategy moving forward.
