Pashtun-Afghan Nation Targeted Over Language, Culture, and Geography, Says Asghar Khan Achakzai

**CHAMAN (Qudrat Daily)** — Awami National Party (ANP) Balochistan President Asghar Khan Achakzai has said that hostility against the Pashtun-Afghan nation is not based on political or ideological grounds, but rather on language, culture, and geography — a deep-rooted conspiracy that demands serious national reflection.
He expressed these views while addressing a district council meeting of the ANP Chaman chapter at Shaheed House, Murdah Kareez, which was presided over by District President Abdul Khaliq Haqmal.
The meeting was attended by Provincial General Secretary Mabat Kaka, Vice President Jamaluddin Rishtia, Central Committee member Dr. Abdul Samad Achakzai, Provincial Spokesperson Wali Dad Miyani, Secretary for Human Rights Advocate Olas Yar Khan, Khan Amanullah Achakzai, Samiullah Khan Achakzai, and other leaders. The participants reviewed preparations for a grand public gathering scheduled for **November 23** at Kachlak High School Ground in memory of the martyrs of the nation.
Asghar Khan Achakzai stated that the ANP is the custodian of the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs who gave their lives to keep **Bacha Khan Baba’s philosophy** alive. “The sacrifices of Shaheed Khan Jilani Achakzai, Shaheed Asad Khan Achakzai, and other party leaders have strengthened our ideological foundation,” he said, adding that the thoughts of Bacha Khan continue to inspire political and national consciousness across generations.
He further said that the Pashtun-Afghan homeland is currently facing grave challenges that can only be overcome through an organized and ideological political movement. “ANP is the only party that truly represents Bacha Khan’s philosophy of non-violence and national sovereignty,” he asserted.
Other speakers highlighted that the Pashtun national movement symbolizes over a century of struggle, sacrifice, and ideological resilience. They said that the sacrifices of the martyrs are a debt upon the living, which can never be forgotten.
Speakers urged workers to spread Bacha Khan’s message among the masses and to strengthen organizational discipline to effectively safeguard the collective interests of the Pashtun nation.
The session concluded with **Qur’an recitation** for the martyrs and a renewed pledge that the ANP would continue its political and national struggle to uphold the ideals of Bacha Khan Baba and honor the sacrifices of the martyrs.
