Opposition Alliance Embarks on Four-Day Sindh Mission Under Mahmood Khan Achakzai; Key Political Events and Feb 8 Protest Preparations Scheduled

Quetta: A high-level delegation of the Pakistan Constitutional Protection Movement, led by newly elected National Assembly opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai, has departed for Karachi to conduct a four-day political mission in Sindh. The visit aims to mobilize public awareness ahead of the February 8 protest and strengthen coordination with regional political groups.

According to the official schedule, the delegation arrived in Karachi on Friday, January 16, at 3:00 PM. Between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, they offered condolences on the passing of former Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani and visited PPP leader Syed Khurshid Shah. At 9:00 PM, a dinner was hosted in their honor by former Sindh Governor and spokesperson of the movement, Muhammad Zubair.

On Saturday, January 17, the delegation will depart Karachi at 9:00 AM for Sun City to attend the 122nd birth anniversary of Sindhi nationalist leader GM Syed. They will also participate in a public gathering organized by the Sindh United Party at 1:00 PM. In the evening, the delegation will travel to Hyderabad, arriving at Insaaf House at 6:30 PM for meetings with Sindhi nationalist leadership and a formal dinner, returning to Karachi at 9:00 PM.

Sunday, January 18, will feature an All Parties Conference at the Karachi Press Club from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by a public gathering and dinner organized by MWM near Numaish Chowrangi at 8:00 PM.

The four-day mission will conclude on Monday, January 19, with Mahmood Khan Achakzai and other leaders addressing the Sindh High Court Bar Association in Karachi at 11:00 AM. The speech aims to reinforce the struggle for constitutional restoration and the establishment of genuine democracy in Pakistan.
