IG FC Balochistan North, Maj. Gen. Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, Visits Quetta, Engages Directly with Citizens

Quetta: Inspector General of FC Balochistan North, Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, conducted a comprehensive visit to various public, commercial, and densely populated areas of Quetta, meeting citizens, shopkeepers, laborers, and business communities to discuss daily challenges, law and order, and business activities.

During his visit, Maj. Gen. Mujtaba toured key locations including Mission Road, Meezan Chowk, Liaquat Highway, Liaquat Bazaar, Iqbal Road, Manan Chowk, Anscumb Road, and Zarghoon Road. Interacting directly with the public, he emphasized that maintaining peace and stability is impossible without public cooperation, adding, “FC Balochistan stands with the people at every step.”

The IG engaged with residents without any formal protocol, warmly interacting with shopkeepers, laborers, and citizens. Many locals took photographs and selfies with him, while raising concerns about roads, electricity, sanitation, traffic management, and security.

Addressing the complaints, Maj. Gen. Mujtaba assured that delays in resolving public issues would not be tolerated. He instructed relevant departments to ensure prompt action and highlighted that close coordination between the district administration and FC Balochistan North can improve public services.

“The purpose of the forces is to serve the people and strengthen trust and cooperation among them. FC is a force of the people, and the people are our strength,” he said.

Citizens and the business community appreciated the IG’s outreach, calling it a welcome step to build public trust. Local traders praised the force’s consistent support for the community and acknowledged its role in maintaining law and order.

Maj. Gen. Mujtaba concluded by urging citizens to contribute to peace and stability, report suspicious activities, and continue cooperation for a better future for the coming generations.
