Islamabad High Court Suspends Order to Dissolve CDA

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court’s division bench has suspended the single bench order to dissolve the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

The bench stayed the order issued by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani. The written order was issued by Justices Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Inam Amin Munhas.

The court has suspended the decision to dissolve the CDA until June 19. The stay was granted in response to an intra-court appeal filed against the single bench’s verdict.

Further hearing on the intra-court appeal has been adjourned until the second week of December.

It is worth noting that the single bench, led by Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani, had directed the initiation of the process to dissolve the CDA.
