Terrorist Attack on Cadet College Wana Foiled: Two Militants Killed, Three Trapped — ISPR

*Rawalpindi (Qudrat News)* — Security forces successfully foiled a terrorist attack on **Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan**, killing two militants and trapping three others inside the campus, the **Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)** said in a statement on Sunday.

According to ISPR, the attack was carried out by the **India-sponsored terrorist group “Fitna al-Khawarij.”** The terrorists attempted to breach the college’s security perimeter but were swiftly repelled by the forces. In frustration, the attackers detonated an **explosives-laden vehicle** at the main gate, damaging the entrance and nearby infrastructure.

The military spokesperson confirmed that **three terrorists are currently trapped inside the college’s administration block** and are believed to be in contact with their handlers across the border in Afghanistan.

“The Khawarij attempted to repeat an APS-style atrocity but failed miserably,” the ISPR stated, referring to the 2014 Army Public School Peshawar attack.

ISPR emphasized that **Pakistan reserves the right to respond** to the attack and those responsible, including the terrorists’ leadership based in Afghanistan. The statement added that the presence of such militant groups in Afghanistan contradicts the Taliban government’s commitments.

Under **Operation Azm-e-Istehkam**, clearance operations are ongoing across the region. The Pakistan Army reaffirmed its resolve, stating that **“externally sponsored terrorism will be completely eradicated from the country.”**
