Mahmood Khan Achakzai Pledges Unconditional Support for Amendments Strengthening Parliament

**Quetta/Islamabad (Qudrat Daily)** — *Mahmood Khan Achakzai*, Chairman of the *Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party* and head of the *Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan*, has condemned terrorism in all forms and expressed concern over the recent blasts in *Delhi* and *Islamabad*.
Speaking to the media, Achakzai warned that *Pakistan and Afghanistan are exchanging threats*, escalating tensions in the region. He emphasized that he will *support any constitutional amendment that strengthens Parliament* and will *resist any amendment that weakens it*.
Criticizing the current leadership, Achakzai alleged that the government is *following in the footsteps of the British*, making unreasonable demands on Afghanistan, including *accepting the Durand Line, influencing Afghanistan’s foreign policy,* and subordinating Kabul’s government to Pakistani directives. He added that the current rulers *lack the ability to build meaningful friendships* in the region.
