Chief Justice Yahya Afridi Unveils Roadmap for E-Courts System Nationwide

Islamabad: Under the leadership of **Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi**, a roadmap has been finalized for the **nationwide implementation of the e-Courts system**, aimed at enhancing transparency and efficiency in the judicial process.
The meeting reviewed various initiatives to make the judicial system more **public-friendly and transparent**. Participants included **Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Haroon Rashid, Barrister Ali Zafar**, and officials from various institutions.
Chief Justice Afridi emphasized that the **digital transformation of the judiciary is a reform initiative in the public interest**, stating that all **stakeholders will be actively involved** in the process. He further announced that by **August 2026, all courts in Pakistan will transition to solar energy**.
The Chief Justice also directed the **Federal Judicial Academy** to conduct consultations with stakeholders. In addition, plans for **e-libraries, women facilitation centers, and clean drinking water projects** will be completed as part of the modernization drive.
