Condemning Terrorism Essential Across Generations; Afghan Refugee Policy Fully Enforced in Balochistan: CM Sarfraz Bugti

*Islamabad/Quetta (Qudrat News)* — Balochistan Chief Minister **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** emphasized that **condemning terrorism is a moral obligation for every generation**, regardless of race or ethnicity. Speaking to the media outside Parliament, he reaffirmed the provincial government’s **full implementation of the federal policy regarding Afghan refugees** in Balochistan.
Bugti noted that **Dr. Malik Baloch’s party is unlikely to support the current legislation**, but stressed that **lawmaking is the domain of Parliament**, which is effectively performing its duties. He said detailed discussions had taken place with the **Chairman Senate** in the **Executive Committee for the National Assembly (ECC)** regarding **Balochistan’s parliamentary seats**, especially in light of the **two key clauses of the 27th Constitutional Amendment**, which demand special consideration.
Highlighting the importance of dialogue, the Chief Minister said that **disputes and disagreements are best resolved through communication**, but asserted that **any terrorist who sheds innocent blood must be condemned, regardless of background or ethnicity**. He called upon **political parties and citizens** to play their part in maintaining **peace, order, and constitutional supremacy**.
Discussing Afghan refugees, Bugti stated that **Balochistan is fully adhering to the federal government’s policy**, and the **provincial administration will not show any leniency** in its enforcement. He added that arrangements for **housing and basic facilities** for Afghan refugees are being made to prevent potential unrest and ensure **peaceful coexistence**.
The Chief Minister also highlighted ongoing **development projects in Balochistan’s underprivileged regions**, saying that the provincial government is striving to improve **education, healthcare, and infrastructure** across the province. He assured citizens that the government is **committed to serving the people of Balochistan and addressing their problems with dedication**.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti was in Parliament for a meeting with the **Chairman Senate**, during which **constitutional, political, and economic issues related to Balochistan** were discussed in detail. He reaffirmed that the **interests of Balochistan are being prioritized in the 27th Amendment**.
