Chaman Security Situation Satisfactory, Further Measures Under Consideration for Peace Improvement: Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai

Chaman: A high-level meeting on law and order was held at the Deputy Commissioner Office Chaman under the chairmanship of Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, where the overall security situation of the district was reviewed.
Deputy Commissioner Chaman Hameed Ahmed Bangalzai briefed participants on the performance of police and other law enforcement agencies, stating that Chaman is a vast border district comprising both mountainous and plain areas, making it highly sensitive from a security perspective.
He added that security forces remain on high alert 24 hours a day, with snap checking at entry and exit points, patrolling operations, and thorough inspections at police checkpoints. He further said that officers and personnel, including undercover staff, are actively performing their duties to maintain peace and stability in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai termed the security situation in Chaman as satisfactory but stressed that there is still room for further improvement. He emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the top responsibility of the district administration.
He urged law enforcement agencies and police to play their full role in making Chaman a peaceful district and said that additional steps are being considered to further strengthen law and order.
The meeting also discussed various proposals to enhance security arrangements, and officials from all relevant law enforcement agencies and police departments attended the session.
