Security Forces Kill 20 Indian-Sponsored Militants in Shawal and Dera Adam Khel Operations
Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s security forces conducted successful counter-terrorism operations in **Shawal** and **Dera Adam Khel** in North Waziristan, killing **20 Indian-sponsored militants**.
According to the **Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)**, the Shawal operation was based on **intelligence reports**, targeting militant hideouts. During the operation, **8 Indian-backed militants** were eliminated.
In a separate operation in **Dera Adam Khel**, a **fire exchange** resulted in the killing of **12 terrorists**. The ISPR stated that **clearance operations continue** in the area to neutralize any remaining Indian-supported militants.
The military reaffirmed that under **“Azm-e-Istehkam”**, the counter-terrorism campaign will persist until **foreign-sponsored terrorism is completely eradicated** from the country.
