Vaccination Coverage in Balochistan Rises Significantly After Five Years of Stagnation

QUETTA:Balochistan has recorded a notable improvement in its **child immunization coverage**, breaking a five-year stagnation. The vaccination rate has increased from **38% to 47%** within just one year, according to a **Third-Party Verification Survey** and a report by **Aga Khan University**.
Chief Minister **Mir Sarfraz Bugti** hailed the development as a reflection of the government’s **effective reforms in the public health sector**. He stated that under the **Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI)**, the province has now achieved **70% of its target**, marking a major step forward in healthcare delivery.

Bugti added that the **provincial government’s transparent policies and improved governance** have enhanced public trust, calling this achievement a **guarantee of a healthier and safer future for Balochistan**.
