JUI-F Recognizes Mahmood Khan Achakzai as Leader of the Opposition — “Largest Opposition Party Deserves the Role,” Says Senator Kamran Murtaza

**Islamabad (Daily Qudrat)** — Senator **Kamran Murtaza** of the **Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F)** has announced that his party recognizes **Mahmood Khan Achakzai** as the **Leader of the Opposition**, affirming that the **largest opposition party** has the right to hold the position, even if it does not command a numerical majority.

Speaking to the media, Senator Murtaza stated that **JUI-F supports the decision** of **PTI founder Imran Khan** to nominate Achakzai for the key parliamentary role. “Our stance is clear — the leadership of the opposition should go to the largest opposition group in the house,” he said.

He emphasized that **JUI-F believes in principled and constitutional politics**, and will continue to play a **constructive and democratic role** in Parliament. The senator added that respecting democratic norms requires ensuring that **parliamentary representation and leadership within the opposition** reflect political realities and the will of the people.
