Funeral of Martyr Major Sibtain Haider Held in Rawalpindi; PM Shehbaz and Field Marshal Asim Munir Attend

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The funeral prayer of **Major Sibtain Haider Shaheed**, who embraced martyrdom during an **intelligence-based operation (IBO)** against **Indian proxies of the Khawarij network** in the Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan, was offered at **Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi**.

According to the **Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)**, **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif**, **Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir**, the **Minister for Information**, senior **military and civil officers**, and **citizens** attended the funeral prayer.

Paying tribute to the martyred officer, **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif** reaffirmed that **“no group with deviant ideologies or the Khawarij network will ever be allowed to succeed.”**

He said the **blood of martyrs strengthens the nation’s resolve** to **defeat every agent of chaos** and **safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty**.

According to the ISPR, **Major Sibtain Haider Shaheed** will be laid to rest with **full military honors** in his **hometown**.
