Islamabad Sessions Court Acquits PTI Leader Azam Swati in Two Controversial Tweet Cases

Islamabad: The Islamabad Sessions Court has acquitted PTI leader Azam Swati in two cases related to controversial tweets.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Afsal Majoka delivered the verdict on Swati’s bail petitions. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had filed two separate cases against him over the tweets.
Earlier, the Peshawar High Court had ordered that Swati should not be arrested in the registered cases for ten days in response to a petition against the NAB notice, stating that the petitioner wished to appear before the accountability court and should be treated according to the law.
