Bilawal Bhutto Welcomes PM Shehbaz’s Statement on Government Formation in Gilgit-Baltistan
Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has welcomed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s statement regarding government formation in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In a statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed gratitude to the prime minister for acknowledging the PPP’s majority in Gilgit-Baltistan, saying that it reflects the continuation of democratic traditions.
He said the PPP appreciates the invitation from the prime minister to form the government in the region, adding that consensus-based decisions will also include the appointment of the Governor and Deputy Speaker from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further stated that the PPP will utilize all its capabilities to serve the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and work for their development and welfare.
