Three-Day ‘Youth Gala’ Kicks Off in Chaman: DC Urges Students to Embrace Science and Showcase Talent
Chaman: Deputy Commissioner **Habib Ahmad Bangulzai** inaugurated a **three-day “Youth Gala”** at the **Government Model Higher Secondary School Ground**, aimed at promoting students’ intellectual, physical, and creative development while highlighting their hidden talents.
The opening ceremony was attended by the **District Education Officer**, **Army officials**, **DPO**, and members of civil society. Addressing the participants, DC Bangulzai encouraged students to pursue **modern scientific and technical education** to contribute positively to the nation’s progress and reputation.
During the event, students displayed their **artistic and creative skills** through a variety of stalls showcasing **traditional Pashtun crafts, cuisine, art, sketching**, and **disaster preparedness projects**. Among the highlights were stalls featuring local delicacies made from **milk, butter, and curd**, including the traditional **Shorba**, which received great praise from guests.
The **Youth Gala** will continue until **November 5**, offering students from across the district a platform to celebrate culture, innovation, and learning.
