Measles (MR) and Polio Vaccination Campaign to Begin in All Schools of Quetta from November 10

Quetta: The Government of Balochistan has announced the launch of an integrated *Measles (MR)* and *Polio Vaccination Campaign* across all schools in Quetta as part of a major public health initiative.

According to an official letter (No. 480/DEOC/DC/QTA, dated November 3, 2025) issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (G) Quetta, Mr. Anwar Kakar, to the District Education Officer, the vaccination drive will run from **November 10 to November 29, 2025**.

The letter directs the District Education Officer to ensure that all children under the age of five enrolled in schools are vaccinated by designated health teams. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of full cooperation from school administrations and staff, urging them to respond promptly and responsibly to facilitate the campaign’s success.

The initiative aims to eliminate measles and polio from the region and to ensure better health protection for school-going children.
