Sui Gas Company Announces Six-Hour Gas Shutdown in Quetta and Several Districts on November 2
Residents Brace for Cold as Maintenance Work Disrupts Supply Across Balochistan

**QUETTA (Daily Qudrat):** The **Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC)** has announced a **six-hour suspension of gas supply** across several parts of **Quetta and nearby districts** on **November 2** due to maintenance work on the region’s gas pipeline network.
According to **SSGC spokesperson Salman Ahmad Siddiqui**, gas supply will remain **suspended from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.** in Quetta’s areas including **Hazarganji, Khazan, Gas Road Sariab, Khrotabad, Haji Camp, Noorzai Chowk, Pashtoon Bagh, Akhtarabad, Western Bypass, Khizni, Nohisar, Samungli, Killi Barat, GOR Colony, Airport Road, Baleli, Bacha Agha, and Nawan Killi**, as well as **Pishin, Kuchlak, Bostan, Ziarat, Mastung, Qalat**, and adjoining areas.
The company stated that the **temporary disruption** is part of **essential maintenance and repair work** to improve the gas distribution system in Balochistan.
The spokesperson apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and **urged residents to make alternative arrangements** during the shutdown period, assuring that **normal gas supply would resume by evening**.
