FC Balochistan Foils Human Shield Attempt in Panjgur, Captures Terrorist Alive

Panjgur: Security forces successfully conducted an intelligence-based operation in the **Essa area of Panjgur**, arresting an active member of a **banned terrorist organization** alive, the **Frontier Corps (FC) Panjgur** confirmed in an official statement.
According to the FC spokesperson, during the operation, the terrorist — identified as **Qasim, son of Jama Khan, resident of Tasp, Panjgur** — took refuge in a room and attempted to use his **niece, Nazia**, as a human shield. However, when Nazia refused, she was reportedly harmed by Qasim himself.
The security forces demonstrated exceptional professionalism and restraint, successfully clearing the area and **capturing Qasim alive**.
During **initial interrogation**, Qasim revealed that his **sister Farida, niece Nazia, and nephew Ahmed Ali** were also affiliated with the **“Fitna al-Khawarij” group**, a local cell linked to the **Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)**. He further confessed to collaborating with individuals named **Maqsood, Niaz, and Dawood** in multiple terror attacks under the TTP wing.
Investigations also uncovered that Qasim’s sister **Farida possessed both Iranian and Pakistani identification documents**, allegedly used to facilitate terrorist operations.
Security officials stated that intelligence obtained from Qasim’s arrest will play a **crucial role in dismantling remaining terrorist networks** in **Panjgur and surrounding areas**.
