PTI Candidate Khurram Zeeshan Wins Senate By-Election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar: According to unofficial results, **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)** candidate **Khurram Zeeshan** has won the **Senate by-election** from **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa** with a clear majority.

Sources from the **Election Commission** reported that Khurram Zeeshan secured **91 votes**, while the **opposition alliance’s candidate**, **Taj Muhammad Afridi**, managed to obtain only **45 votes**.

The polling took place inside the **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Hall**, where **137 members** cast their votes. The voting process concluded peacefully, and **no untoward incident** was reported during the counting.

The seat had fallen vacant following the **disqualification of former Senator Shibli Faraz** by the Election Commission for **failing to disclose assets**.

After the unofficial results were announced, **PTI lawmakers and supporters** celebrated the victory and congratulated Khurram Zeeshan on his success.

Meanwhile, leaders of the **opposition alliance** expressed **reservations** over the results, stating that they would review the election process and **decide their next course of action** after examining the **final results**.
