PTI Provincial President Junaid Akbar Urges All Institutions to Work Within Constitutional Limits
RAWALPINDI:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Provincial President Junaid Akbar Khan has emphasized that all institutions and political actors must operate within their constitutional boundaries, stating that “it is in everyone’s best interest, including the institutions themselves.”
Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court, Junaid Akbar said that a majority of PTI’s support comes from the youth, and if they are denied political space, including the right to hold rallies and gatherings, it could push young people in the wrong direction.
He defended Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, saying that the CM “has not made any unconstitutional or illegal statements.”
Junaid Akbar clarified that the party’s presence outside the Supreme Court was not just to support Imran Khan but also to express solidarity with the judiciary. “We are citizens of Pakistan and no one can stop us from going anywhere within our own country,” he asserted.
