Lasbela Hosts Its First-Ever “Las Youth Festival” — A Vibrant Celebration of Youth and Culture

*Uthal (Qudrat Daily)* — The **first-ever “Las Youth Festival”** in Lasbela’s history was held at the *Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS) Uthal*, organized by the **District Administration Lasbela** in collaboration with the **Pakistan Coast Guards (1st Battalion)**. The colorful event drew a large crowd of men, women, students, and citizens from across the district.

The **Deputy Commissioner of Lasbela, Humaira Baloch**, inaugurated the festival as the chief guest by cutting the ribbon. Prominent attendees included **Additional Deputy Commissioner Siraj Ahmed Baloch**, **Vice Chancellor Prof. Abdul Malik Baloch**, **District Council Chairman Sardar Abdul Rasheed Phorai**, and **Vice Chairman Sardar Ghulam Farooq Sheikh**, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Humaira Baloch said that *“youth are the country’s most valuable asset, and such programs play a vital role in showcasing their talents.”* She added that strict **security arrangements** were ensured by the **Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), Police, and Pakistan Coast Guards**.

The festival featured a **book fair, food gala, sports competitions, debates, cultural exhibitions, amusement rides, and NGO stalls**. Students showcased their **creative, intellectual, and cultural skills**, while **traditional Lasbela cuisine and heritage displays** captivated the visitors’ attention.

**Commandant Pakistan Coast Guards 1st Battalion, Colonel Zain-ul-Abideen**, and **Colonel FC Shehzad** also visited various stalls and appreciated the efforts of the organizers.

**Vice Chancellor Prof. Abdul Malik Tareen** emphasized that Lasbela University and the District Administration will continue organizing such **educational and cultural initiatives** in the future to promote **leadership, collaboration, and creativity among youth**, while highlighting the **rich cultural heritage of Lasbela**.

Participants hailed the *Las Youth Festival* as a **positive and promising step for the region**, saying it provided a new identity to Lasbela’s **local traditions, culture, and youth potential**.
