Key Breakthrough in Quetta Female Teacher Murder Case: Prime Suspect Confesses, Police Pursue Accomplices

Quetta: Police have made significant progress in the investigation of the **female teacher’s murder case** that occurred two weeks ago on **Manojan Road, Quetta**, as a **prime suspect has confessed** to the crime, according to **SSP Serious Crime Wing Imran Qureshi.**

SSP Qureshi confirmed that the case is being investigated on a **priority basis** under **special directives from senior provincial, administrative, and security officials,** including **Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti.**

He revealed that **two men on a motorcycle** were involved in the incident — one was driving while the other opened fire on the victim. Initial CCTV footage and the suspect’s confession have provided key leads in the investigation.

However, the SSP emphasized that the police will **not rely solely on verbal confessions** but will **corroborate the statements with digital and physical evidence** before presenting them in court as legal proof.

> “By the grace of God and with the cooperation of the public, we have obtained important evidence and reached one of the main suspects,” SSP Qureshi said, adding that a **manhunt for the second suspect is ongoing.**

He further stated that the investigation is being finalized using **CCTV recordings, motorcycle footage, and other digital evidence.**

SSP Qureshi appealed to the public to **continue cooperating with the police** and to report any information regarding the suspects to the **Crime Wing helpline** or the nearest police station.

He stressed that **attacks on female educators are attacks on the fabric of a learning society**, vowing that **law enforcement agencies are fully committed to eradicating such heinous crimes.**

The SSP assured that the **investigation will continue until all culprits are arrested** and that the **case will be presented in court with solid evidence** to ensure justice for the victim’s family.
